Smartwatch deals on Amazon
Smartwatches are one of the most popular Black Friday gifts, and the main brands all get discounted. The big rule: pick the watch that matches your phone. These are the smartwatches we have listed on Amazon right now.
Quick picks
What to look for
- Apple Watch only works with an iPhone. Galaxy Watch and Pixel Watch are best with Android phones.
- Garmin works with both and lasts days or weeks per charge, but its apps are more basic.
- GPS models use your phone for calls and texts. LTE models work on their own but need a monthly plan from your carrier.
- Size is about wrist fit and battery. The bigger case usually has a slightly bigger battery.
- Older generations often drop a lot when a new model comes out and still get software updates.

FAQ
Do I need the LTE version?
Only if you want calls and data without your phone nearby, like on runs. Most people are fine with GPS.
Will an Apple Watch work with Android?
No. It needs an iPhone to set up and use.
Which lasts longest on a charge?
Garmin, by a wide margin. Apple, Samsung and Google watches usually need charging every day or two.
